Anyway, uh, what have I been up to recently...? I don't feel like writing a novel, so here's a list! Everyone loves lists.

• Old computer died
• Computer- and internet-less for a couple weeks
• Bought a new one
• Been staying with ~yoshiken for at least a week every month
• Saw Tim Burton's 9
• Saw Where The Wild Things Are
• Saw a bunch of other movies
• Learned how to play Magic The Gathering
• Finished the first Dragonlance trilogy
• Finished the second book in the second trilogy
• Turned 21
• Booked the San Diego LDS temple for January 22nd
• Booked a reception site for the wedding
• Booked a photographer
• Going in for a wedding cake consultation next Wednesday
• Picked out the bridesmaids dresses
• Moved my daily sketchblog to Tumblr: [link]
• Been going to the gym (almost) everyday
• Been working on commissions
• blah blah
• etc.

And that about sums up what I've been up to lately (or at least since I made my last journal). But yeah, SUPER EXCITED FOR THE WEDDING. Wedding planning is more fun than you may think!


OH ALSO The Yoshi's Corner forum has begun sign-ups for its annual Secret Santa! All you've gotta do is register and post in the thread that you will be participating. After dating for 5 long years, I'm going to be married to the greatest friend I've ever had <3

Kurtis proposed last night at 1:30AM, which is about the same time we began dating back in 2004. It feels so good to be one step closer to spending an eternity with him. And besides, "fiancé" sounds so much better than "boyfriend." XD There's no ring yet, but BOY is there a diamond!

Joking aside, it's very hard for me to get across my feelings in writing, since I'm nowhere near as good with words as Kurtis is, but just know that I am feeling unfathomable joy right now.

I love you SO much, Kurtis! Thank you for making this our greatest anniversary!




And we must give a very special thanks to ~strange-one XD We love you even though we don't always show it!

So, Kurtis's deviantART account is active again! He was able to recover his password from the lost email. Also, his MSN account is active again, so you can add him back if you'd like (truereddragon at hotmail dot com). It had been deleted for some reason. D:

The week I spent with him in Arizona was great! I just spent the 4th of July weekend with him as his family came to California to visit more family. He's actually just 5 feet away from me right now visiting me for the day before he goes back to Arizona. C: We'll be going out for lunch in a few minutes.

On the 18th, I'll be flying out to Arizona for a little 10-day vacation of my own. Can't wait! That means I'll be gone from the internet for a while, but you should expect to see me plenty the two weeks beforehand. :>

Yes, it's true! It's just that... he's forgotten his deviantART password and it seems that we're not sure what email his account is attached to. xD; He's already contacted the deviantART staff about it and is awaiting an answer. Same situation with his MSN account, unfortunately.

But yeah, he's back! Just wanted to let you know that he doesn't mean to ignore you guys who have left him messages and stuff.

Also, starting Monday, I'll be making a trip to Arizona for a week to spend time with Kurtis, so I'll be mostly away from the internet 'til the 22nd.




Oh, and sorry about my inactivity here. There are a bunch of Notes that I still need to get around to answering. xD Sorry, I don't mean to be ignoring you.

I actually haven't gotten to do much personal art, which doesn't bother me much, but it explains my lack of productivity. Hopefully I'll be able to create more stuff over the summer! Though, it looks kind of busy from here, between spending time with friends, family, and Kurtis.
