Really, really nicely done of course! The background was done well I believe, not to mention I like your coloring choices. Not exactly as I had pictured it, but it makes it indeed all the more interesting to see your interpretation. :O

Not much of a fanfic reader, but this is surely interesting! Sentient yoshis talking to humanoids? Unreal!

Art wise, I really really really love the depth of field, primarily because combined with the subtle use of atmospheric perspective alongside the varying levels of detail between focal objects and background items, the resulting ambiance is quite appealing, "delicious" even. =p
