Time sure flies, huh? I'd forgotten to make a journal for Christmas, but I hope you had a good'un! Kurtis stayed over for about a week, we did a bunch of Brawling and Castle Crashing, went to Olive Garden, and got to see Avatar in 3D with my fam. It was AWESOOOME. Go see it now!

I personally can't wait to see what this new year has planned for me. The wedding is just 21 days away, and everything is slowly coming together. Slowly, but surely... hopefully. XD We're pretty excited, especially with a bunch of online friends attending, including =teh-yoshi, ~brute-force06, ~Kimmorz, ~Rylaen, and ~F1fth! We're planning on honeymooning at Yosemite National Park. Yeah, it may not sound glamorous, but I'd rather go camping, still have a great time, and have a good bit of money left than go on a cruise and come home to financial struggles.

But yeah... Resolutions! These ones, I'm going to try hard not to break.
• Become a super awesome cook! If not, becoming a decent cook would be fine :B
• Keep on going with my exercising. People have told me that these last 5 months have done a lot of good, so I'd like to continue with it!
• Earn enough money to go to a vocational school for either Massage Therapy or Cake Decorating (still can't decide!)
• Dye my hair jet black
• Read more books
• Start sculpting more
• Learn to sew or crochet
• Just improve in art overall
• Become a better, more hard-working person
• Be the best wife ever

DeviantART subscription means journal CSS! Yay! I'm not a tree-hugger by any means, but I do adore the neatness and typography. Many thanks to `pica-ae! I've pretty much forgotten everything that has to do with CSS over the last couple years, so I'm slowly getting my bearings. I guess once I do I'll make a journal CSS myself instead of constantly ganking from people, haha.

Hey, all you Yoshi fans! Do you remember that #yoshies club that hosted Yoshi-themed contests and such? Well, it's back! With the introduction of official deviantART Groups, the joining and submission process has been streamlined, and the lovely *coralyoshi was kind enough to pass on ownership to ~yoshiken and I. We'd love to have more members! But unfortunately, there probably won't be any contests for a bit, with our wedding planning and all. But you can definitely look forward to some fun diversions afterwards!
